Job Announcement: Venture Director/Project Manager

This role is key to piloting our impact ventures projects from inception through to becoming independent ventures. Your Role:

• You will lead impactful projects from conception to launch as standalone companies.
• You will be primarily responsible for moving the venture(s) under your responsibility forward, from the initial conceptualization phases, through the design and validation of the different elements of the business model, the selection of personnel, to the final launch as an independent company.
• You will be responsible for planning, budget tracking, and reporting, ensuring that each phase of the project is executed to perfection.
• You will foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, actively participating in strategy development and key decision making for Utopya’s growth.
• You will join a highly dynamic team, driven by a Purpose and Values that are at the core of everything we do.

We are looking for:

• Professionals with a university degree in management, administration or related areas, with 5-10 years of experience in project management.
• Experts in project management: planning, budget tracking, reporting and team coordination are competencies in which you excel.
• Strong knowledge of the design and validation of new business models, following agile methodologies such as Lean Startup.
• Experience in the area of impact ventures (social, environmental and economic).
• Experience in securing funding for startups is a plus.
• Natural born leaders with excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is a must; French is a plus.
